Who is the Lord God Almighty?: Today many individual don’t know the Lord God, some said it is Jesus Christ, some Abraham while some say God. We are coming up with this topic to answer the following questions below;

Who is the Lord God Almighty?

Many people have different thought about God Almighty, some say He is Jesus Christ while some say He is the God father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

God is spirit, That is why He said in his word that “All His followers must worship him with spirit and truth” John 4:24 (KJV). Does it means that is the only way we can describe God? No.

With these words, Jesus declared that everything revolves around Him. He went on to say that He is Lord God Almighty, implying that He is the only all-powerful God.

Can you still remember what happened when God appeared to Moses? God said to Moses “I am the Lord” as stated in Exodus 6:2 (KJV).

” I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.”

This Revelation 22:13 proves to us that the Lord God is the almighty which does not have the beginning and the end.

What is the real name of God Almighty?

Today, many preacher only call God because that is what they learn but deep down they don’t know nor can prove the real name of the Almighty God.

There are two Bible verses which God call out His name directly and even tell all His true followers to call the name when needed help. The first Bible account we will consider is the account of Psalm 83:18 (KJV);

” That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth.”

Isaiah 26:4 (KJV), ” Trust ye in the Lord for ever: for in the Lord JEHOVAH is everlasting strength:”

This two Bible verse directly point on God’s real name directly which is “JEHOVAH“. You might think what is the meaning of this name?

When God sent Moses message to the Children of Israel, He told Moses the meaning of His name. Let confirm that in the Bible account of Exodus 3:14 (KJV);

” And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT , I AM : and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.”

In the Bible verse God told Moses that He is I AM THAT I AM, which simply tell us that is the meaning of JEHOVAH.

You might ask, Why do people then call Him Lord, God Redeemer, Saviour and many others? Jehovah is one way of saying YHWY, God’s true, personal name.

These are usually titles. It’s a title, just like God. His real name is Jehovah. That is how you distinguish him from all other gods.

How great is God Almighty

The name ALMIGHTY implies that God has all the power he needs to accomplish anything he desires.

Almighty God’s greatness is limitless. He is the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit all rolled into one. His power is incomprehensible to humans.

God is always righteous in all that He is. Every decision and action He takes is just and right. He makes no errors. He is not unjust.

Let consider the Bible account of Exodus 18:11 (KJV) and see how great God is, It says; ” Now I know that the Lord is greater than all gods: for in the thing wherein they dealt proudly he was above them.”

This Bible verses expresses how God is great, you can see in the Bible verse we have GREATER, which means nothing on heaven and on earth is greater than Him.

Deuteronomy 5:24 (KJV) also shows how people of ancient days praises God because of his greatness, the verse says;

” And ye said, Behold, the Lord our God hath shewed us his glory and his greatness, and we have heard his voice out of the midst of the fire: we have seen this day that God doth talk with man, and he liveth.”

This verse let us know how God shows His greatness to anyone that abide with rules and walk with Him in truth. Knowing all these will make us live a life of a true Christian so we can see God’s greatness.
